Rob is seeking advice from his friend Ellen.R: Rob E: Ellen
R: Can I ask you a favor, Ellen?
E: Sure. What can I do for you?
R: My mom asked me to move out. She wants to turn my room into her own personal yoga studio.
E: That's too bad. What are you going to do?
R: I need to find a place of my own.
E: What kind of space are you looking for?
R: I'd like a one-bedroom, rooftop apartment with a view. Hopefully, it'll be located near an MRT station. Oh, and it has to be under NT$5,000 a month.
E: Get real! You're not going to find anything like that at that price.
R: Maybe my mother will increase my allowance when I move out. After all, I'll be 33 years old next week.

Every day, 35 percent of Copenhagen's residents travel to work, school, or shops by bicycle. They cycle a combined distance of over a million kilometers per day, which equals 25 trips around the Earth. Copenhagen expects the volume of cyclists to reach over 50 percent of the population soon. Cycling is a healthy and environmentally friendly type of transportation. Plus, it is cheaper and usually faster than taking public transportation. Wherever you go, more and more people are choosing cycling.
Debbie got a job offer in Taipei that she couldn’t pass up, so she decided to move there. However, she had no idea that finding a place in Taipei would be a tough task. After checking in at a hotel, she started searching online for available apartments. She finally saw one that looked pretty decent and was right in the city center. To her surprise, the rent was quite affordable, so Debbie dialed the landlord’s number and made an appointment to see it that evening. To get to the apartment, Debbie had to walk through dark alleys with homeless people lying around. When she got there, she was very disappointed because it was very old and smelly and the furniture was falling apart. It looked nothing like its pictures on the Internet. Debbie might have found her dream job, but she definitely didn’t find her dream home.
The First Lady of the US, Michelle Obama, and many others have joined together to fight against childhood obesity. More and more children are overweight, not to mention obese. In fact, obesity has gotten so bad that many doctors believe today's obese children will not outlive their parents.
The reasons for the increased cases of childhood obesity are easy to see. What is hard to know is how to prevent it from the very beginning. Parents play a huge role in their children’s diets. Making smart and healthy choices from the start of their children’s lives is crucial. Schools also play important roles since children spend a lot of time and consume several meals there every day. Environments that stress healthy eating habits and daily exercise teach big lessons.
